Your actual note content — practice notes, round recaps — is stored in your own Apple iCloud account on iOS, and under your login account on Android. Only the minimum information needed for the "Grass Friends" feature (adding friends, sharing grass, sending tips) is stored on our Supabase servers. Golfeels uses no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs whatsoever.
The iOS app signs you in with your Google or Apple account (via OAuth/OIDC — Golfeels never handles your password directly).
Practice notes, round recaps, and any attached photos or videos are stored on your device, and synced across your own devices only through Apple iCloud (your personal CloudKit database). This data is covered by Apple's iCloud privacy policy, and the developer has no access to it.
The text of your practice notes themselves is not included — the one exception is a "Grass Tip" you choose to send to a friend.
Your profile photo is stored only on your device and never sent to our servers. Beyond the above, the only other network request is an anonymous version check on launch, used for the forced-update gate.
The "similar feel" auto-suggestions and automatic tag suggestions only run on-device when Apple Intelligence is available and enabled, and nothing is sent to a server. Local notifications (like the daily feel quiz) are also scheduled and delivered entirely on-device.
The Android app signs you in with your Google account. Unlike iOS, all of your notes — including the note text itself — are stored on our Supabase servers (there's no on-device-only storage).
Google / Apple: used only for sign-in authentication — we don't access anything beyond your account's email, name, and profile photo.
Supabase: the backend infrastructure provider (database and file storage) that hosts the data described above on our behalf.
No advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs are included in the app.
There's no in-app self-service account deletion yet. Email hapheeh@gmail.com with the address you signed up with, and we'll delete your data promptly after verifying.
On Android, all records stored on our servers will be deleted upon request. On iOS, your actual practice notes live only in your own iCloud and the developer has no access to them — please delete the app from your device or manage your iCloud data directly in Settings. An email request will delete the account, friend, and grass-tip data stored on Supabase.
Golfeels is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
